In February and March 2010, Civic Platform held Poland?s first internal primary election to choose a candidate to stand for President in 2010. The campaign lasted a month, with Radosław Sikorski kicking-off his campaign in Bydgoszcz on 28th February and finishing in Lublin on 25th March.

During his campaign he visited twenty cities, meeting with hundreds of activists, members of Civic Platform and supporters who were invited to participate in meetings all over the country.
